The AWARE Atlas is a digital platform for preserving, managing and disseminating geographic data. It is available since September 2015.
The data contained in the AWARE atlas are:On the Internet, https://aware.cirad.fr offers a free portal for access to resources that are intended to be disseminated and cited. Access to this data may be open to all or restricted.
The platform is based on the open source web spatial data infrastructure GeoNode. The data are stored and secured within the IT infrastructure of the CIRAD of Reunion Island.
The AWARE atlas is based on standards allowing the exchange of metadata and their indexing by search engines.
The design, development, system administration and editing were carried out by the research unit "Agroecology and sustainable intensification of annual crops" (AÏDA) - https://ur-aida.cirad.fr/
